Senior Thesis
Thesis Statement:
Energetic spatial characteristics can intensify a message by grabbing the audience's attention through implied reality and curiosity. Therefore design can activate, excite and even manipulate a message's theme though spatial relationships.

Another addition to my final application was three different hand-made moleskin-like booklets. Each book let had a short essay in it covering my thesis studies as well as content questioning/ pushing design students to voice their opinions. In my experience and research I found many design students don't voice their opinion and/ or feedback out of fear of being wrong or some other misguided reason.

Each booklet was given to students and encouraged to fill them out with their design explorations, design thinking or simply their opinion to anything related to their professional studies and/or future inquiries.

Study One
Using a list of variables to visually experiment with a progression from simple to complex compositions/ sketches.

Study Two
Exaggerate the studies from study one with focus one independent elements such as depth, distance, energy, motion and color.

Study Three
Organize with only the basic principles of design. Dissect those independent elements into groups and experiment their subtle effects.

Afterwards I took those concepts and placed in three-dimensional studies using foam core.
